We are committed to protecting your privacy and this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) aims to ensure that you understand: (i) what personal information we collect about you; (ii) how we use your personal information; and (iii) your rights in relation to the personal information we collect.

Any terms not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed to such terms in the Terms and Conditions, available at (www.screenil.com/terms).

1. About this Policy

This Policy sets out essential information regarding your personal data and how it is used by us, as part of the Screen iL service (the “Service” or “Screen iL”), operated by Stream iL  Communication, LTD, an Israeli company, with its registered address Cinema City, 1 Aluf Haki Hofi, Ramat Hasharon 4710014, Israel. In this policy, all references to “STREAM IL” “we” or “us” shall be references to Stream iL Communication, LTD. The terms governing your use of our Service and our website are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not use any of our services, nor provide your personal information to us.  

We will update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, regulatory or operational requirements, so please re-visit this page frequently. In case of any material change, we will make reasonable efforts to post a clear notice on our service or send you an email regarding such changes (including when they will take effect) to the email address that you have provided us with. Your continued use of our service after such changes take effect will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes. If you do not wish to acknowledge or accept any updates to this Privacy Policy, you may cancel your use of our service, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. 2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

We have set out below the type of personal information we collect and how we use this information. 

Some of your personal information is automatically collected when you use our service. Other personal information is processed by us when provided by you (such as when registering).  

You may choose not to provide us with certain personal information, but this may impact your use of the Services.  

a. Information Provided by You when Using Our service 

  • When you register an account with us, you provide us with certain personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, zip code, and billing information (such as your billing address and the credit card). We will only keep the last four digits for our records once the payment is made.
  • When you input account settings (including preferences) or provide ratings, you provide us with certain information as to your viewing preferences.

b. Information Collected automatically 

  • We collect geolocation data, including through the collection of IP addresses and other similar information to determine your location for analytics and security purposes.
  • We collect behavioral information about you and your use of our service, such as your activity on our service (such as date and time of use, content you have watched and search queries). In order to collect some of this information, we use cookies and other tracking technologies. 
  • We may also collect certain behavioral information in relation to your interaction with our customer service, such as the date, time and reason for contacting us, transcripts of any chat conversations, and if you call us, your phone number and call recordings, the content of the message, your email address or any other contact information you provide. 
  • We collect certain technical information and online identifiers, such as your IP address, information about your device or other unique identifiers, for geo-location, analytics and security purposes required for our operations, and because some of our content is restricted to viewing in certain countries only and we need to know your location in order to determine what content you can view. 

We use the data to provide you with the service, to monitor, enhance and personalize our service, for marketing efforts, to process and manage your account, for your payments, and to communicate with you on these and other topics. For example, we use such information to:

  • manage your account(s) and process payments received by you;
  • respond to any enquiries and manage other customer service interactions with you, and to communicate with you about our service (including by sending you information about new features and content, special offers, consumer surveys, and in connection with operational requests such as password reset requests); 
  • analyze, research, develop and improve our service;
  • provide you with customized viewing recommendations for content we think will be of interest to you, and ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the service;
  • coordinate with our partners on making the service available to members;
  • detect and investigate potentially prohibited activities (such as fraud), and to enforce the terms and conditions of our service (such as determining whether a particular device is permitted to use the account or from a particular location); 
  • to comply with audit and other legal requirements 
  • to enforce and comply with our content license restrictions.

3. Sharing your Personal Information

We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose your personal information other than for the following purposes: 

  • Service Providers: We may provide your personal information to our service providers, who we engage to perform services on our behalf or to assist us with the provision of services to you (such as service providers providing infrastructure and IT services, processing payments etc.). Our service providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your personal information confidential and to use your personal information solely in connection with providing their services. Please note that we collect, hold and manage your personal data through a third party’s cloud-based services, as reasonable for business purposes, which is located in the United States. 
  • Companies in our group: the Personal Information you provide to us may be accessed by members of our group of companies, including Stream iL INC, a Delaware Corporation,  for the purposes of supporting the Service, reporting and in order to fulfill the purposes detailed herein. 
  • Public authorities: We may need to disclose personal information to certain public authorities in order to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to any government or regulatory request, or when we believe in good faith that it is necessary for us to do so.
  • Protection of Stream iL and others: We may disclose and otherwise use your personal information where we reasonably believe such disclosure is needed to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, (b) enforce applicable terms of use or any other agreement between you and Stream iL or this Privacy Policy, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address illegal or suspected illegal activities (including payment fraud), security or technical issues, (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Stream IL, its users or the public, as required or permitted by law, or (e) when Stream iL is undergoing any change in control, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of all or substantially all of the assets of Stream iL (while such acquired company or investor may be located in countries outside of your jurisdiction).

For avoidance of doubt, we may transfer and disclose non-personal information to third parties at our discretion including without limitation for statistical, analytical and research purposes and for customization, developing and improvement of our service.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We will only collect, process or share your personal information if we are satisfied that we have an appropriate legal basis to do this, which includes: 

  • Fulfilling a contract we have with you
  • Furthering our legitimate interest (a business or commercial reason to use your information)
  • Complying with any legal or regulatory requirement.

Where we have no other valid legal basis to process personal information, personal information will only be processed with your consent, which may be withdrawn by you at any time by emailing us. For the avoidance of doubt, the withdrawal of your consent will not affect our right to continue processing any information which you consented to prior to the withdrawal, or other data processing that is being done on other lawful grounds. 

5. Your Information and Rights 

You can request access to your personal information, or correct or update out-of-date or inaccurate personal information we hold about you. You may also request that we delete personal information that we hold about you.

When you visit the "Account" portion of our service, you have the ability to access and update a broad range of information about your account, including your contact information, your payment information, and various related information about your account. 

We may reject requests that are unreasonable or not required by law, including those that would be extremely impractical, could require disproportionate technical effort, or could expose us to operational risks. We may retain information as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations, including as necessary to provide the service, for our billing or records purposes and to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. 

If you wish to issue a request to exercise your rights, please contact us (according to the contact information set forth below), providing your name and contact information along with your request. We may request additional personal information from you in order to validate your identity. We will also advise you regarding the actions we intend to take pursuant to your request, without undue delay. Please note that such requests are subject to applicable legal 

obligations imposed on us by law.

6. Data Retention 

We retain information as long as we reasonably require to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable law. We take reasonable periodic measures to destroy or de-identify personal information in a secure manner when we determine that it is no longer required.

7. Location of and Transfers of Your Data 

STREAM IL’s principal place of business is in Israel. STREAM IL’s information systems are hosted on central servers located in Israel, and in the United States. Any personal information that is stored by us will be transferred to one of those locations. 

We may transfer your personal information to third parties in other locations outside of Israel, and if we do, we will ensure that these third parties shall be subject to written agreements ensuring the same level of privacy and data protection as set forth in this Privacy Policy, including appropriate remedies in the event of the violation of your data protection rights in such third country. 

8. Third Party Links and Platforms

We may provide additional links as part of our service that we believe may be useful to you. These links will lead you to third party websites that are not affiliated with   STREAM IL and may operate under different privacy practices. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies of all such other websites and/or services, as we have no control over information that is submitted to other sites. For example, you may be able to access our service through platforms such as smart TVs, mobile devices, and a number of other Internet connected devices. These websites and platforms have separate and independent privacy policies, and terms of use, which we recommend you read and consider carefully. 

Cookies and Internet Advertising

9. Cookies

We use cookies and other technologies (such as web beacons), as well as resettable device identifiers, for various reasons. We would like you to be informed about our use of these technologies, so this part of the Privacy Policy explains the types of technologies we use, what they do, and your choices in this regard. 

Cookies are small data files that are commonly stored on your device when you browse and use websites and online services. We use other technologies such as browser storage and plugins (e.g., HTML5, IndexedDB, and WebSQL). These technologies also store small amounts of data on your device. Web beacons often work in conjunction with cookies. In many cases, declining cookies will impair the effectiveness of web beacons associated with those cookies.

We use these technologies for various reasons, like making it easy to access our service by remembering you when you return; to provide, analyze, and enhance our service; to enforce our terms and conditions of use; to prevent fraud; to improve site performance, to monitor visitor traffic and actions on our site; for analytics and optimization purposes; to customize your experience of our services and our marketing, and to understand customer interactions with our communications.  

Most devices and browsers will allow you to erase cookies from your device’s hard drive, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. However, if you block or erase certain cookies, it may result in limited functionality of our service. If you want to remove previously stored cookies, you can manually delete them at any time. However, this will not prevent the service from placing further cookies on your device unless and until you adjust your settings as described above. 10. Communications

If you no longer want to receive certain communications from us via email, [email protected] or through our contact page. Alternatively, click the "unsubscribe" link in an email communication from us. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from service-related correspondence from us, such as messages relating to your account and account transactions.

11. Minors

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to subscribe to our service. We do not intend and do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian of a minor, and become aware your child’s personal information has been collected without your knowledge and consent, please email us so that we can delete this information. 

Notwithstanding the above, if you allow your child to use our Service as part of your account and create a profile for him/her, we will collect information based on your child's use of the Service. This information includes: Profile information for any profiles you create for your child, including your child’s name or nickname, and their age, if you choose to provide it; information regarding 

the content that your child watches, their search terms, device type and settings and Internet protocol (IP) address, hardware model and operating system version; log information. 

We do not however collect personal information like name (unless you choose to provide this instead of a nickname), address, or contact information from your child. 

We use the information we collect for internal operational purposes, in the same way that we use your information, such as to enforce content license restrictions, customize and personalize the service, based on previous viewing choices and preferences.

We have included certain parental controls in the Service which will limit your child’s use of the service and enable you to access the content that your child has watched. 

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, logical, physical and managerial measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use and modification. These measures are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risks of processing your personal information. Your Personal Information is hosted on Amazon Web Service servers, which provide advanced strict security standards (both physical and logical).

Some of the security measures that we employ include, without limitation: highly secure services design and implementation using state of the art encryption and architectures mechanisms, restriction of access to your personal information to individuals who need access to it in order to process it on our and implementation of a secured permission management and auditing system using specific and proprietary firewall and network access filtering as well as security group mechanisms.

Please note, however, that there are inherent risks in transmission of information over the Internet or other methods of electronic storage and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or use will never occur. We will comply with applicable law in the event of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your personal information and will inform you of such breach if required by applicable law.  Without derogating from our liability under law, we will not assume any responsibility, of any type whatsoever, with respect to any security breaches and/or theft of information. .
